Taylor Swift ist die MTV-Königin

Den 1987er Rekord von Peter Gabriel, der mit Sledegehammer ja 10 MTV Awards abräumte, hat sie zwar nicht geknackt, aber mit gleich 9 Preisen kürte sich Taylor Swift in der Nacht auf Mittwoch zur neuen MTV-Queen. Erfolgreicher als Lady Gaga (8 Awards, 2010), Beyonce (8, 2016) oder Madonna (6, 1998)

11 mal war sie nominiert - nur bei Song of Summer und Best Editing musste Taylor dem BTS-Star Jungkook bzw. Olivia Rodrigo den Vortritt geben.

Mit den 9 Preisen, die Swift im Prudential Center nahe New York kassierte, schraubt sie ihre Sammlung auf bereits 23 MTV Awards hoch. Nur Beyonce hat noch mehr: 25.
