Adam Levine (35), Sänger der US-Band Maroon 5, wird bei der Oscar-Verleihung auftreten. Wie die Filmakademie am Montag mitteilte, soll der Sänger und Schauspieler den Song "Lost Stars" auf der Bühne singen. Das Lied aus dem Film "Can a Song Save Your Life?" (Originaltitel: "Begin Again") zählt zu den fünf nominierten Liedern in der Sparte "Bester Song".

Gast-Auftritt
Levine tritt in dem Musikfilm von Regisseur John Carney an der Seite von Keira Knightley und Mark Ruffalo auch in einer Nebenrolle auf. Die Trophäen werden am 22. Februar in Los Angeles zum 87. Mal vergeben. Erstmals steht der US-Schauspieler Neil Patrick Harris als Oscar-Gastgeber auf der Bühne.
