Aquilano und Rimondi sind DIE Designer-Hoffnung in Italien. Auf ihre Glamour-Tweed Kostüme dürfen wir uns freuen!
Sie arbeiteten für MaxMara, im Team von Prada und waren sie verantwortlich für die kreative Entwicklung des Cashmere-Labels Malo. 2008 traten sie die Nachfolge von Lars Nilsson an, der bis dahin für die Damenkollektion von Gianfranco Ferré verantwortlich war.
Ihre Show in Mailand für Herbst/Winter 2010/11 machte Eindruck. Ihr
Tweedkostüme mit fransigem Saum und eingearbeitetem Glitter-Lamé sind
gleichzeitig elegant und chic, haben aber auch die coole Lässigkeit die von
den Kundinnen verlangt wird.
Auch Federn kamen zum Einsatz, sie wurden
eingewebt. Akkurate Linien bekamen Luftigkeit durch auf Organza gearbeitete
Felle. Ein paar Pailletten hier, ein paar Chiffon-Rüschen da - alles
wunderbar!
